The dawned with widespread fog and visibilities between 2 and 3 miles. Visibility improved gradually through the morning has temperatures warmed, lowering the relative humidity. The temperature increased from near 30 at dawn to near 40 at 3:30. The relative humidity was 96% at 7:00 and fell to 77% when the temperature peaked at 41 degrees at 3:30. This is a good example of how relative humidity decreases as temperature increases even though the amount of moisture in the air increased slightly during the day.
